History:
In 1996, Jamie McDonald left a secure position as shop foreman for one of the largest electric motor repair centers in Minnesota. He and his son, Jason, opened a small electric motor shop in Litchfield, Minnesota, with 20 years experience and a dream. It was to provide superior customer service and quality that is second to none. After five major expansions and the addition of over 60 service and sales technicians, TRICO TCWIND has become the premier electric motor and generator repair facility in the Midwest.

Evolution:
The last five years has seen fewer service centers in the electric motor repair field, but TRICO TCWIND continues to grow. This growth is the result of our passion for providing the best customer service and our commitment to wind power. This commitment has become a passion for TRICO TCWIND and we have set the standard for wind turbine generator repair. TRICO TCWIND has invested heavily to position itself as the premier repair facility for electric motors and generators of all sizes.
