With a combined staff of over 60 employees at TRICO TCWIND, Inc. we have a depth of highly trained technicians that can respond quickly to your issues, saving you costly lost production dollars.  Our technicians are Tractel rescue trained & highly talented, to diagnose, recommend the repairs, minimize downtime and get your generator or motor back online.

We have the capability to effectively repair wind turbines from the smallest units, up to the largest that are currently in production.  We have done repair work on factory motors & electric motors up to 100 MW on-Site.

Our specialty electrical testing equipment, vibration analysis equipment, photo capable bore scope and thermo-imaging, equipment that we use at our 75 thousand square foot climate controlled facility is fully portable, and is able to be transported on-site and up tower for the analysis and diagnostic testing of your toughest problems. We have just opened an On-Site Facility just north of Lake Benton, to better service our customers.

If your equipment is coming out of warranty, we have the experience to conduct pre-warranty expiration inspections and consultation.  We do bearing replacements, rebuild housing, flingers, bearing caps, slip ring repairs and much more.  We also have the capability to reverse engineer and manufacture these components, if those components have extensive factory lead times.

We often quote all inclusive packages so you have a “No Surprises” cost, before we even mobilize a crew.  We also offer an all inclusive package for customers, if their equipment cannot be repaired up tower, a “turn key” price for us to handle the removal of the equipment, provide the crane, transportation of the unit, rewind or other repair at our facility, back to the installation and re-termination of the generator.

Along with our staff of certified on-site technicians we have an Electrical Engineer, Master Electrician and Certified Fluid Power Specialist to assist you with any problems you may have.
